Unless otherwise titled (eg Jazz, Contemporary etc.), classes are hip hop inspired popular dance that includes styles influenced by genres such as hip hop, house, R&B, jazz-funk, waacking, lyrical, and more.

Term Dates
Below are the term dates for 2026- days on the weekly calendar (RIGHT OF SCREEN) will not necessarily reflect this (Google Calendar shows all dates, including school holiday dates, when we do not have classes)
Term 1: Saturday 7th February –Thursday 2nd April
Term 2 – Monday 20th April – Saturday 4th July
Term 3 – Monday 20th July – Saturday 26th September
Term 4 – Monday 12th October – Sunday 6th or 13th December (End of Year Show Day at the Town Hall TBC)
Exam Fees
Urban Ignition (UI) exam fees due end of Term 1.
NZAMD exam fees due start of Term 3.
Costs to be advised by emailed notice.

Enrolment Information
To secure your enrolment: FEE PAYMENT IS DUE UPON RECEIPT OF INVOICE OR THE ENROLMENT WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BE COMPLETED. This applies to all new and returning students.
Returning Students: If you are level 3 and above, please do not enrol in the class you were in last year. You will be moving up to the next level and your class time may have changed. Please refer to the timetable and class descriptions provided above but if you are unsure, email us before you enroll. All returning students must re-enrol at the start of a new year.
Re-enrolments: Enrolments will roll over to the following term unless Rasa is notified of a student’s intent to discontinue the following term. Should a student discontinue, their place in the class will be given to the next person on the waiting list and may not be available should the student decide to reenrol at a later date. All returning students must re-enrol at the start of a new year.
